On Dec 12th, an excellent children’s show “a crazy festival of two children” was performed by Beijing Binfen Children’s Art Theatre, BRFLS students and the students from other two primary schools watched the show together.
This show is a story of two families and the experiences which they have to go through during their children’s growth. The students sometimes burst with laughter and sometimes remained quiet and thoughtful. The children did not even realize that 90 minutes had passed when the show was over and did not want to leave the auditorium because they wanted more of the show. At the end of the show, students walked away with a valuable lesson: ‘You hate the things you hate because you do not understand them well enough.’
This activity not only made children enjoy art, but also educated them to learn tolerance, and to understand and think from the others’ perspective. Children also got to know the importance of communicating with others and solving problems using different methods.
