Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday. On May 27th, the students of Grade One, Class Seven, Eight and Nine had a very interesting and warm family activity.

Students with their parents were going to make their own “baby Zongzi”. Teachers led them to have two warm-up games at first to activate the atmosphere.

During the process of one game, some students tripped over but they stood up with the help of their parents and were very brave.

Next, their parents shared how they celebrated this festival when they were young and students gained a lot of knowledge about this festival.

The final session was the making of Zongzi with their family, teachers told them to put sticky rice and some honey dates inside the leaves and the students made a beautiful wrap!

After the activity, they said goodbye to teachers and left school with one hand holding their parents and another hand holding their baby Zongzi. What a happy day!
