BRFLS PYP Curriculum Presentation in Grade 2

On 13th October, it was a big day for the international classes in BRFLS. Students gave a presentation about their PYP theme learning. The grade 2 students had a lot of professional knowledge about the human’s skeleton.

Students used different methods to show their results about the human’s skeleton. For example, one student lied on a big white paper and the other students drew his outline using black markers. They also wrote down of the parts of human’s body.

Students used different ways to present what they have learnt; the pieces of skeleton were cut out in different methods. One group chose to make their skeletons in solid shapes, which is more likely to pass an intuitive vision to others. Although students all used different ways to do their posters,   they have gained the ability of exploring what they are interested in,

Look at their work! They are all done by our students using their rich imagination!

Look at this big poster! It tells us that we need to be careful with germs. It also showed us the instructions of washing hands. How thoughtful!

At last, students put all their findings on one poster. I bet everyone believes it is a masterpiece!

In order to extend knowledge of the human’s skeleton, students bought many books for research. At the end of this class, they decided to swap books to share knowledge. Look!  Aren’t they   like little teachers?

Teachers are watching carefully to give fair comments.

In class 2(1), students played the spirit of cooperation very well; this made the presentation even more fascinating.

In consideration of environmental protection, students all used recycled materials to present their work. Do these works look nice?

Apart from learning extensive knowledge, students also practiced their communicative ability. Some students were too shy to talk in front of class. In this public activity, they have gained courage and self-confidence. They should be proud of themselves.
