Soccer game

On December 6, a friendly match took place between the BRFLS U8 soccer team and the BRFC Eagle Class. We hoped this game could make the children have a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of soccer.

After the warm-up and group photo, coaches went over some basic rules (such as the substitution of players and the division of fields) with the children.

This was the team’s first game, so they were nervous during the first half. However, the coach thought they did a wonderful job on offence and played well on defense as well.

During the half-time break, the coaches gave the two teams some good advice. They instructed the children to calm down, pass the ball more,  and communicate more.

In the second half, the game became more competitive as both sides tried more offences and had good cooperation among teammates.  The U8 team is a very young team and needs more experience, but they never gave up.

Although the BRFLS U8 team was upset about losing the game, they got good experience to help them learn how to face failure and obstacles, so they can improve themselves faster!  We are all looking forward to next game. Come on, boys!
