100th Day Celebration for the First Graders

Listen! The leaves are rustling with the wind. The water is flowing and making great music. The seed is growing from the soil. All of them have the sound of growth.

On Dec 2nd, BRFLS hosted a very big ceremony entitled “The sound of blooming”, to celebrate the first 100 days that the first graders spent in school.

One hundred days are only a short period of time in one’s life. However, this is the first step children have to make in their journey of school.

Do you remember the first day in school? Did you want to let go of your mom’s hand?

Do you remember the first night you were accompanied by your life teachers to have your meal?

Do you remember the first time you met your classmates?

Do you remember the first time you were encouraged to answer questions by your teacher?

There are so many first times you will forget later. No matter if you were cute, shy, or naughty, your parents and teacher won’t forget these moments.

Within 100 days, you have loved campus life, developed many good habits and learned tolerance, thankfulness and sharing.

The first graders gave three performances, including ancient Chinese reading, martial arts and dance.

All of the parents carried their cell phones and cameras to take pictures for their children. They wanted to record the skills demonstrated by the students.

Next we welcomed our life teacher’s chorus.  They are the most trustworthy people because they take care of children every day.

Students of eight classes wore many different costumes such as doctors, policemen, and cartoon animals and danced and sang joyful music!

The short video recorded many details of the first graders’ life on campus such as getting up, having meals, making the beds and other activities.

Within one hundred days, children had changed a lot. At first, they refused to go to school, but later began to enjoy school life.  When children were watching this video, they felt very happy and proud. Parents and teachers also felt very touched.

At last, Direct Li from the Dean’s office got on stage to thank parents’ support and understanding of the school and to encourage parents to work with the school in order to create a beautiful future for our children.

Below are some interesting moments:

1 Parents came to BRFLS early that day because they were looking forward to seeing their children in the 2 performance. Look!  They have creative handcrafts!

3 Everyone loves the dreamy and romantic auditorium decorated by our teachers!

4 Parents happily watched the children’s show, and realized their children are growing very fast!
