On April 17th, music teachers Yang Jia and GaoJi attended a three-day workshop on how to conduct a choir rehearsal, orchestra conducting skills, and singing skills.

Dr. Luis, the art director of the all boys American choir, was the main speaker. They have done over 100 performances worldwide. Some of these performances include; a 9/11 memorial service, the Oscars, and the US Open Tennis Championships.
On April 20th two music teachers, students, and parents went to the Beijing Concert Hall to enjoy the premiere of the all boys American choir. They wanted to learn as much as possible through this premiere.
Students ran into the famous Chinese Bel Canto Singer Dai Yuqiang during the intermission. They had a good conversation and he shared some singing tips with them. The students became fans immediately!

Students listened to the music intently and really enjoyed it.
After the concert, students asked the teachers some interesting questions. The teachers were happy to hear these questions because it meant that the students were actively thinking. Teachers and parents hope that one day the students will have the opportunity to perform on stage.
