Today is Women’s Day. As the beauty of spring returns, BRFLS sincerely wishes all mothers a happy holiday! On this special day, BRFLS students are expressing their gratitude for their moms and other female relatives in unique ways.
Students in grade three and four wrote letters as their gift. Their letters reflect the kindness in their hearts. Many mothers were touched by the letters and wrote back to their children.
Students in grade five and six cooked a delicious dish for their mom in the school kitchen. As a food critic, I could not help but saying that the food was fantastic! I believe that their mothers must have enjoyed the meals, and that there was joy in their heart.
What is maternal love? It is kind words that can comfort the heart. It is also a bright lamp of encouragement. Maternal love is selfless, and never asks for anything in return. BRFLS students greatly appreciate their mothers and we will continue to express our gratitude towards them; not just today, but everyday.
