BRFLS Students Celebrate Children’s Day with Ancient Chinese Poetry

In order to celebrate Children’s Day, the Chinese Department at BRFLS held a solemn performance about Chinese poetry.
The performance started with a beautiful animation of ink wash painting accompanied by the wind band, these poems brought us back to different periods, the Tang Dynasty, Han Dynasty, etc. Several songs that were created based on the poems were very smooth and sweet sounding.
The most exciting part is that students memorize poems based on some key words. Twenty-four students make up six teams and are truly experts. They had to work with their team members to answer a variety of questions. The atmosphere was intense and interesting. Finally, Team Lu You won with a score of 310.
After some wonderful programs, including Chinese crosstalk, drama, and dance, the last program was the recitation by the sixth grade. The poem talked about the importance of the strong Chinese youth and the prosperity of China.
Today is a special day. These ancient Chinese poems and these great poets made all of us keep moving forward and create a brilliant tomorrow!
