The BRFLS Chorus Got a New Name!
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of BRS Campus, the BRFLS Chorus decided to give an impressive show for the school. The chorus team, ‘The colorful Dream’, was named by Campus Principal Mr. Wang Guangfa and RFLS Principal Ren Wenru. The name represents the children’s wonderful childhood and their rich imagination. We expect BRS to become a strong platform for the students who wish to achieve their limitless dreams.
The BRFLS chorus was set up in 2013 . Currently, the chorus team consists two groups: ‘The contestant team’(Team A) and ‘the reserve team. (Team B)’ In order to achieve a higher level of performance, BRFLS invited Ms. Zhang Lin from the “Nightingale” chorus in Beijing Haidian Foreign Language School to be the counselor.
Ms. Yang Jia (see the picture above). She is the director of Team A, who majored in piano and vocal singing.. She was supervised by Ms. HaiQianwen who was the professional judge from “Beijing Golden Sail Art Ensemble”. “Beijing Golden Sail Art Ensemble” is the student art ensemble with a high level, big scope and great systematic of Beijing art education. This excellent art team has been to Vienna, LA and Sochi many times for exchange visits.
Ms. CaiYanni (see the picture above). She is the director of Team B. She has started her music career when she was very little. When she was in the Chinese Conservatory of Music, she was tutored by Ms. Li Jia in playing the traditional Chinese instrument Pipa. Ms. Cai has made a great contribution to the BRFLS. For example, she organized the exchange visit activity for “the colorful dream” chorus with Renaissance Public Primary School from the USA.
Mr. Wang Xiaokun (see picture above) graduated from Tianjin Conservatory of Music. He has also completed the training course from CCOM(Central Conservatory of Music). He has a rich experience in musical live performance, music accompaniment and music teaching, and is an expert in interpreting modern music. Moreover, Mr. Wang is committed to ex developing globalized and modernized music education.
Mr. Wang has reached great achievement in his music-teaching career. The passing rate of his students’ standard music examination is very high. His students have won multiple prizes from many musical festivals. Also, two of his students won the first prize in “KAWAI Asia Piano Competition”. In 2012, he was the art executive of a music band’s live concert from BRS (senior high school).
