Pipa Art Festival
In December 25th, the BRFLS Pipa art troupe girls are ready for journey of the game. They participated in Changping art festival for Solo competition in the morning, and then they went to Minzu University of China to participate in the Chinese Art Festival in the afternoon. Girls felt excited and confident for the matches.
On December 25th, the BRFLS Pipa Art Troupe Girls participated in the Changping Art Festival for Solo competition in the morning. At the afternoon, the girls went to Minzu University of China to participate in the Chinese Art Festival. The girls had a great time.
We have chosen three solo tracks 《The spring snow — a highbrow song》, 《Dance of the Golden Snake》, 《BuBuGao》, by Colonel Xinyao WANG, Shihan YU; Pipa music ensemble《Jasmine》was also an audience favorite.
This was the first time for the girls to participate in a large contest. They showed some minor hardships during the performance, but they were able to battle through their challenges and finished the show with great style. Everyone was genuinely happy about the girls’ excellent performance.
As the ethnic and the musical values of pipa are being highlighted, we hope to give the students a great opportunity to develop their pipa skills. Someday, we picture the girls performing on a bigger stage, maybe even on a national level!
