An Unbelievable Surprise—Ignited Learning Desire
Zihan’s mom: I cannot believe I do not need to worry about my child’s school life and academic study. What really comforts me is the fact that he is not pressured by studying like some children. Although he needs to get up as early as 6am to take the school bus, he seems to enjoy his school time. He always likes to share what happened at school with us. For example, how interesting his class was, what he has drew in art class and which book he read in the reading room. When he goes to school, he always has a smile on his face. In my eyes, he is like a happy bird flying to school. I believe this is due to the education.
Unbelievable Good habit: skills improvement
Xiyuan’s mom: In RFLS, self-behavior management is a skill students develop. In three weeks time, children already know how to hold a pen properly and how to write Chinese characters. Also, they know they should stand in a queue while waiting for their meal in the cafeteria. The students who stay at the school dormitories have learnt how to wash their underwear, fold their beddings and keep their dormitories clean. RFLS has rules for students’ behaviors on every aspect including sitting and walking. In this school, students are very polite. My child has become a little gentleman, which surprised me.
Unbelievable Close Attachment to School: “I would like to stay at school on weekends”
Zirui’s mom: I cannot believe that my girl loves to live at school. She even wantsto stay at school during the weekends. Before the new semester started, we promised her that we would pick her up from school every other day. Surprisingly, after only three weeks, she told us she would like to stay at school every day. Frankly, this made me a bit sad. Now, I understand why she likes her school so much. Her home-room teacher sends me pictures every day to let me know about her school life. The interesting classes and a rich variety of activities make school attractive to her. If I were her, I think I would have the same feeling!
Unbelievable Touching Moment: Taking the Initiative to do Housework
Sixuan’s mom: After starting school, my girl has begun to take the initiative to do housework, such us tidying up her bedroom and wiping the floor. Prior to starting her school life, she always regarded herself as an arrogant princessand never knew how to share with others. Now, she is so much different. She is very humble and modest and she enjoys trying even if it is a challenge for her. The progress that she made really touched my heart. I feel really grateful for RFLS!
Unbelievable Interest Class: A Rich and Colorful Variety of Interest Classes
Wenyu and Wenbing’s mom: I cannot believe that my kids can learn how to play golf at primary school. First, they learnt the culture of the sport. Second, they learnt the way to hold the golf club. After learning this healthy and elegant sport, my kids have become more polite and mild.
Yingze’s mom and Zexi’s mom: I cannot believe that RFLS has such a rich variety of interest classes for our children to choose. The subjects include golf, baseball, basketball, football, piano, painting, Taekwondo, fencing, cross talk, swimming and many more. More surprisingly, most of the interest classes are free of charge for the RFLS students.
Unbelievable Tradition: RFLS Values Teaching Traditional Chinese Culture
Zhouzhou’s mom: I thought RFLS only paid attention to students’ English studying, as it is a foreign language school. However, when I went to school on the Thanksgiving Day, I heard students from one class could read Di-Zi-Gui out loud perfectly. Later at the 100-day ceremony, all the students from Grade one surprised me by reciting Di-Zi-Gui together. From this, I realized that RFLS puts a high value on teaching traditional Chinese culture to their children in order to develop their cultural identity.
Unbelievable Challenge: To be a Program Presenter
Ziyu’s mom: One day, my girl was very excited when she got home. She told me that she was going to be the program presenter on their 100-day ceremony. I felt so happy for her. I believe that children should not only do well on their academic studies, but also develop hobbies, be willing to face challenges and improve their self-cultivation. I am so grateful that RFLS gave my child this valuable opportunity!
Unbelievable 100-day ceremony: the presentation of English class
Shiyu’s mom and Wenjie’s dad: It was very thoughtful of the school to prepare a 100-day ceremony for the Grade 1 students. I was impressed with the English class presentation. Each class had different ways to present what they have learnt during the first 100 days such as role play, singing and dancing. I think all of these great performances were due to the outstanding RFLS English class teaching.
Unbelievable 100-day Ceremony: The Short Film <Every Single Day>
Xuanyue’s mom and Yingjun’ mom: I cannot believe that RFLS made a short video for the Grade 1 students to record their progress during the 100-day time. I can clearly see my child’s school life from this short film. Watching the film made me realize why she has changed so much. While I watched the film, my eyes were full of tears, especially when I heard a child said” I love my school, thank you mommy and daddy!” I felt that I made the right decision by choosing RFLS for my child.。
Unbelievable Parent-child Activity: Discovery in the Supermarket
Xiangyu’s mom: This activity is good, as it covers the knowledge of what students have learnt in Chinese, Math and English classes. By taking part in this activity, students have learnt how to apply the knowledge from textbooks to real life. I believe that, for kids, learning from playing is the best way. Students in RFLS are truly learning and growing up happily.
Unbelievable Halloween: Cosplay party
Shuijing’s mom: I cannot believe that parents were invited to join in the Halloween activity. The costume parade was very impressive. Each child presented his/her costume together with their parents. I felt so happy to share this unique moment with my daughter. Our bond was strengthened through this parent-child activity. The time I spent with her is shown in the pictures below.
