Great Country, Please Receive Our Respect

On the afternoon of Oct 16th, the first grade had a big assembly in the International Conference Hall about patriotic education entitled “Great Country, Please Receive Our Respect”.

The first grade leader Fu Zhenhong explained the meaning of national flag of China and how to salute properly with your gaze  and with the proper gesture of respect and politeness.  It is important to stand up straight facing the national flag, don’t hunch over, and stand with your arms straight and flat at your side and fingers pointed at the ground.

In the end, the students got to practice the flag-raising ceremony once. They were very serious and sang the national song with very clear voices. Good Job, students!

In the future, these little kids will become like strong  eagles soaring upwards through the sky. But no matter where they are around the world, our great Motherland will be in their hearts forever.
