An Entertaining and Joyful 2017 BRFLS Sports Meet

The Wonderful 2017 BRFLS Sports Meet started at 8 am on time on Oct 11th.

At the marching-in ceremony, every class impressed the audience in many unique ways. They dressed up like native Indians, carried sunflowers, colored balls or carried head bands made of golden leaves.

Unlike traditional sports meets, this one emphasized athletics and entertainment while being visually engaging and interesting at the same time.

The fall in Beijing is a little bit chilly, but it did not stop the students’ passion for athletics. They competed for themselves, cheered for others, and tried their best to help their teammates. Nowhere did we see this better than in the steeplechase.

Not only did the students participate, but also the entire BRFLS faculty and staff were at the sports meet, converting themselves into scorekeepers, referees, coaches and roll callers.

At the closing ceremony, BRFLS vice principal Gavin addressed the crowd to thank everyone for the efforts that both our teachers and students made during the sports meet. He also wished for everyone to continue their hard work and determination in their daily lives and keep moving forward every day!
