BRFLS “Little Readers” Activity

Reading is an important way to enhance language learning. While enjoying rapidly evolving stories, students could also enhance their cultural awareness and improve language skills through extensive reading of literature. The purpose of BRFLS’s reading classes is to help children develop good English reading habits by reading original English novels, improving their English skills in full range. More and more children fall in love with English literature under the guidance of teachers. Here is a brief exhibition of what the students have read in class.

On the fourth week of this semester, the English department of BRFLS held a reading sharing activity named “BRFLS Little Readers”. At the first stage, the students were selected within each class to enter the first round sharing event. On March 14th and 16th, nine judges composed of Chinese and foreign teachers from the English department graded the students according to their overall performances. Students that were promoted after this round would enter the final round of reading sharing event to talk about the fun they have had through reading.
