Good News 丨BRS students get excellent results in AMC again

In February this year, our school held a AMC10 competition, a total of 15 students participated in it, including six grade 9 students, five grade 8 students, and one grade 10 student. Among them, He Jinlin from grade 9 class 4, Chen Qi from grade 9 class 5, and Zhao Xinru from grade 8 class 4 encountered a math problem that occurred in American high school mathematics contest, which is designed especially for grade 9 and 10 students. The purpose of this test is to raise the interest of students in mathematics and improve their problem solving abilities through solving challenging questions. The competition content is mainly high school math problems except for calculus. As the test is designed for all the students from ordinary general school to key schools, the questions get harder gradually within a reasonable range. It’s a fact that the questions are very challenging, but they are within the scope of our students.

It has become an important way for students to increase international competition experience, improve their international learning background, and enhance their competitiveness. The above three students won the first, second and third place respectively in this competition within our school, and they were awarded the honor certificate issued by the American Mathematical Society. AMC10 sincerely wishes the students in BRS to achieve better results in the next AMC competition!
