Amazing Performance by the ‘colorful dreams’ chorus in the 11th International Youth Art Festival

On the 17th December evening, the ‘colorful dreams’ chorus from RFLS took part in the competition of the 11th International Youth Art Festival. They prepared two songs for this competition, which are <Cowboy’s song> and < Clap your hands and sing Hallelujah>. The conductor is Ms. Yangjia. Ms. Gao Ji did the part of piano accompaniment. Ms. Cai Yanni is the tutor for chorus.

These two songs are both lively songs. In order to heighten the atmosphere, students all dressed in cowboy’s style. Although it was a very competitive competition, the ‘colorful dreams’ chorus from RFLS received rare reviews from the judges. The audience put up their thumbs to these hardworking students.

‘Colorful dreams’ chorus was named by RFLS principle Julia Ren. This was the first official competition that this chorus attended. Success gained from this competition is the result of all the hardworking students, professional teachers and caring parents.

Actually, these two songs the chorus performed in this competition are quite hard. They spent a lot of time to practice. As the Chinese old saying says: “One minute on the stage, requires ten years of hardworking.” Every Friday afternoon, the chorus all stayed longer time in order to practice, they were determined to get a prize from this time!

On the day of competition, parents also came to help the chorus to get ready. They helped student to make up and get dressed and they even prepared delicacy for these hardworking children.

Prior to getting on the platform, Ms. Yang encouraged the chorus in order to let them show their best and show the RLFS spirits.

Thanks for all members’ hardworking from the RFLS chorus. They have proved that there is no gain without pain. They will definitely have a bright future ahead waiting for them!
