A Letter From Qi Yanbo’s (Grade six Class one) Parents
This semester is soon to be finished! As a parent from 6-1 class, I would like to express my gratitude to all the teachers!
To be honest, I was worried with my child at the beginning of the semester, due to the fact that the previous homeroom teacher of the class had left to go study abroad. I was not sure whether the new homeroom teacher would be capable of managing the class. In addition, I was concerned with my son getting used to the new school.
After a few weeks, all my worries disappeared. Ms. Liu, the new teacher, showed excellence in her classroom management techniques through an effective reward system. Her reward system encourages students to reflect upon their very own progress and thus preventing them from comparing themselves with other students. I genuinely appreciate Ms. Liu’s effort towards my son and the other students.
Ms Liu’s persistence with her students left me heartwarming. She would keenly observe her students so she can find ways to make individual connections with the students. Additionally, her notable communication skills with the parents are to be praised. She frequently updates the students’ progress so that the parents can be more knowledgeable with their children’s academics.
I would like to express a special thanks to the math teacher Ms. Zhao Jingjing and English teacher Ms. Cheng Hong for their mesmerizing achievement with the students. They are well known among the students for having an inviting attitude towards their students in the classrooms. The students’ progress reports clearly reflect their academic and emotional growth throughout the semester.
Ms. Zhou Aiyun, the dorm teacher, is a nurturing figure to the students. She displays her caring traits by informing students about the weather, helping students maintain their hygiene and providing emotional support when it is necessary. I am very happy to have my child at BRFLS for these reasons.
It feels amazing to witness my child’s growth by his side. On behalf of my son, I would like to thank the caring staff of BRFLS for their commitment. Best wishes to BRFLS for the coming year!
At the beginning of this semester, I had so much to worry about honestly. One the one hand, this class is going to have a new home-room teacher, as the old one has been sent to study abroad. I was worried about whether the new home-room teacher was capable enough to manage this class. On the other hand, this was the first semester for my child in RFLS, I was worried about whether he could get used to this school’s environment or not.
After a short time, I found that Ms Liu was an experienced and caring teacher. She has many good qualities such a mild and thoughtful. Also, she is very good at classroom management. For example, she made a reward system according to each kid’s circumstance. When a student makes progress compared with himself last week, he would get rewards from Ms Liu. This encourages students to keep going and only compare with themselves rather than others. Thus, Ms Liu’s way of managing classroom is very wise. She not only teaches academic knowledge to her students, but also has a huge influence on their life values.
There was one thing that really touched my heart. Ms Liu was sick the other day, but she insisted on staying at school with her students. She put her students before herself. Every day she would observe her students. If there are any students who needs to be helped, she would arrange time for them as soon as possible. Apart from the communication with students, Ms Liu also keeps contact with parents closely. She would send pictures to parents every day for letting parents share the happiness with their children together.
In addition, I would like to give my gratitude to the Maths teacher Ms Zhao Jingjing and English teacher Ms Cheng Hong. They made semester goals together with students. For achieving these goals, they invite students to ask them questions at any time. They care about every student. At the end of this semester, I can tell that students from class one has made great progress academically and emotionally.
For the dorm teacher Ms Zhou Aiyun, she is just like a caring mom to every student. She checks the weather reports every day to tell students what to wear. After students falling asleep, she checked the hygiene in their bathroom. As a mom, I feel so happy because my child can be taken care of so well at this school!
Looking back to the whole year that my child spent in RFLS, he is growing up physically and mentally in a happy mood. He is making progress every day. In this short article, I would like to thank all the leaders and teachers in this school for their great education to students in this school. You guys did really good job!
