Experience-Sharing: UNESCO STEM+ and BRS
On October 15, 2016, BRS was the fortunate recipient of a site visit by an international delegation representing UNESCO’s STEM+Education Innovation Initiative. The purpose of the visit was to share progress in identifying best practices in innovative science, math and technology education in elementary schools. BRS teachers Li Xiuwen and Yu Yao conducted STEM class demonstrations as representatives of the BRS faculty. Delegation members praised both teachers for the creativity and interactivity they employed to encourage student participation and engagement.
