Celebrating World Happiness Day at BRS

World Happiness Day at Beijing Royal School was not just a celebration—it was a powerful example of student voice and leadership in action.

This year’s activities were thoughtfully led and initiated by our students, who took the lead in shaping a day centered on kindness, connection, and well-being. We are incredibly proud of the ownership, creativity, and care they demonstrated throughout the event.

Across the campus, students guided their peers and teachers through simple yet meaningful moments that reflected the values we strive to live by every day. From leading classroom activities to encouraging small acts of appreciation, their efforts created an atmosphere where everyone felt seen, supported, and valued. WORLD HAPPINESS DAY
What made this celebration especially meaningful was not only its simplicity, but the authenticity of student involvement. It showed that happiness in a school community is not driven by large-scale events alone, but by student-led initiatives that inspire everyday actions—listening, including others, and building genuine connections.

This day also reinforced an important truth: when students are empowered to lead, they help shape a stronger, more connected community. Their leadership reminded us that well-being is at the heart of learning. When students feel safe, respected, and engaged, they thrive not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well.

At Beijing Royal School, we are deeply proud of our students for leading this celebration and setting the tone for what a caring, inclusive community looks like. Happiness is not just something we celebrate—it is something our students actively create and sustain every day.
