Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University Dr. Robert Easton Visits BRS

On March 19, Beijing Royal School and Fazheng Group hosted a Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony with Oxford University’s Dr. Robert Easton, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Development and External Affairs. Principal Wang Guangfa and Dr. Easton exchanged ideas regarding their shared values in education, which continues to reinforce their long-standing partnership, and discussed strategies to further enhance cooperation in future endeavors.

Dr. Robert Easton took up the role of Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Development and External Affairs) in October 2017. As Pro-Vice-Chancellor responsible for public affairs, development, alumni relations, and international strategy, Dr. Easton stressed that establishing academic cooperation with China is a top priority for Oxford University’s external affairs mission. Under his leadership, Oxford University and China have been developing new cooperation opportunities in medicine, education and many other aspects.

Based on the Memorandum of Understanding, both sides will join forces to enhance and empower high-end talent cultivation, student exchanges, teacher training, digital technology, distance education, laboratory construction, biomedical and traditional Chinese medicine, as well as numerous other aspects of global importance.
