From BRS to Harvard, Steven Huang Has Something to Say to You

BRS graduate Steven Huang

Steven Huang is an outstanding 2013 BRS graduate who has continued to excel in academic achievements abroad. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in 2017 from UC Berkeley and also gained acceptance into Harvard University’s Master’s Degree Program in Architecture. BRS invited Steven to return to deliver a keynote speech on December 23 as an overseas alumnus at a forum hosted by his Alma Mater, Beijing Royal School. During his speech, he conveyed an important concept to his listeners about planning effectively for life and learning. He shared how doing so was the determining factor in helping him achieve academic success and overcoming countless obstacles along the way. Had it not been for his effective time planning, Steven shared that he could not have spared the time from his academic endeavors in the complicated study of architecture to participate in fraternity activities, in which he made so many true friends in overseas life, and to enjoy all his life experiences along the way. In reflecting on his BRS days, he encouraged his dear BSR’ers to plan their life and study effectively, so that they, too, may cherish this most beautiful and memorable time in life and make the most of their days and opportunities at BRS.
