Family-School Communication丨Parents Meeting of Grade 8

On May 11th, 2017, the BRS campus was crowded with people and vehicles. They were coming for the parents meeting of Grade 8. Once you entered the school, you could see a lot of student volunteers guiding parents. With the help of our students, all the parents arrived at the international conference hall to attend the meeting, which started at 1:30pm. Here is the schedule of the meeting.

The headteacher of Grade 8 Ms. Jing He started the meeting with explanations and analysis in three aspects: the composition of Grade 8, students’ academic, extracurricular and temperamental achievements as well as suggestions for students’ future planning.

Afterwards, Fuli Wang, Principal of BRFLS Junior High, delivered a speech at the meeting. As a mother, Principal Wang suggested parents to prepare for their children’s future as early as possible.

Meanwhile, Principal Wang sincerely advised that parents should consider age, character, study advantage and other factors comprehensively before making any plans or it might turn out to do harm to their children.

After the conference, parents followed homeroom teachers to attend the parents meeting in homerooms during which homeroom teachers introduced some aspects of concern such as class setting, exams and rules and so on.

Finally, all the subject teachers were arranged in different classrooms so that parents could talk to them and ask for more information. The parents meeting with subject teachers enabled parents to have a clearer understanding of students’ achievements and efforts. More importantly, the communication between students, teachers and parents was tightened. We are all looking forward to the next meeting.
