【The Excellent Graduate】Using Martial Arts to Strengthen China, a Dream from a Kung Fu Boy

Liu Linsen is well known as Kung Fu Boy among his teachers and  classmates. He told us that he started practicing because he was weak when he was young. Indeed, his dream is also related to Wu Shu, as he wants to continue learning Wushu to get more championships and eventually open martial clubs overseas! We can tell how hard he has been practicing  from the calluses on his hands.

In addition, he is good at swimming, badminton, and street dancing.  He told us that he learned these from the afterschool classes of BRFLS. His dance teacher Linda likes him a lot, because he always practices what he has learned in class after getting back home and thus makes a lot of progress.

Math Teacher Zhao made him understand the boundary between freedom and rules; Chinese Teacher Cai helped him expand his horizon. But what influenced him the most is his teacher Feng Yang, who taught him how to write essays   in grade one. Now they are not only in a student-teacher relationship, but they have become friends. If he has some problems, he likes to express what he thinks in the essay and always gets the suggestions from Feng Yang.

He enrolled at Wangfu Middle School in the first round interview because of his versatile skills, solid academic knowledge, and fluent English.

In the end, the final words he wants to tell his “younger brothers and sisters” at school are “Integrity is more important than anything else”.
