Global Scholars are in Action

The international online study course “Global Scholar” is close to an end this semester. Not only has the students’ English improved by practicing with other students around the globe via internet, they also had many different practical activities. For example, the last unit, “community activity”, required them to do research on “the impact of modern technology on human life”.

After brainstorming, they chose garbage classification as their topic. They were divided into different groups, some looked for information, some made PPT, some designed posters, etc. In the end, they presented in front of BRFLS about the advantages of garbage classification and the specific methods.
They also made several recycling bins in different colors and collected different types of garbage during the class break. What’s more, they recorded their work to make a film, interviewed other students about this activity and finally wrote a report to share with all of us.

This project received great support from all the teachers and students of BRFLS, which gave them a lot confidence. They sincerely hope the garbage recycling can continue at BRFLS and every student here can gain a good habit of recycling. This will beautify the school environment and make our campus a more beautiful place to study and live.
