BRFLS Spring 2017 Field Trip

After the cold winter all of us are awaiting spring, especially the students. They want to see the beautiful flowers. On the morning of April 12th, BRFLS faculty and students went to the Beijing Botanical Garden.

Seventeen buses arrived at the botanical garden. The children were excited to see the thousands of flowers. Beijing Botanical Garden has more than ten exhibition sections, including the rose garden, peach garden, peony garden, clove garden, plum garden, begonia garden, bamboo garden, bonsai garden, etc. Each flower has an ID card with a QR code that you can scan. Students scanned the QR codes and were able to find more information on the flowers. What a great tour to learn more about flowers!

The sixth grade students are now senior students, so their job for this trip was to also take care of the first grade students. The younger students can learn many good things from their “sisters” and “brothers.” The senior students enjoy contributing and caring for others.

Look at these sweet pictures!

The teachers and students took many photos because they all love spring, BFRFLS, and beautiful things.
In time these kids will grow up, and the Beijing Botanical Garden might change. But this day will be a day that will never be forgotten by the teachers and students.
