Students Have Fun in Introductory Guzheng

The guzheng, also known as the Chinese zither, is a Chinese plucked string instrument with a more than 2,500-year history. Many people love to hear its beautiful sound. Last semester, seven first graders joined in the introductory class taught by music teacher Zhao Haijun.

Teacher Zhao always prepared the class very carefully because she knows the importance of foundation to the learning of any instrument. She teaches class in a very humorous way so students get along with her well very quickly. Then, teacher Zhao built the class rule so that students learn music in a peaceful environment. It has been almost a semester; students can play the Pipa quite well.

In the open class, music accompaniment was added to the practice and our smart students can play the song from the beginning to the end perfectly with appropriate body movements. We strongly believe that through the practice of this semester, students can give us a great performance on the big stage!
