√Lucy Haagen is an international expert in second language teaching, assessment and the use of mobile technology to improve English instruction. Before BRS, she was a test developer for SAT and TOEFL exams at ETS and later Associate Director of the AP Program. As a faculty member in Duke University’ s Program in Education, she trained future ESL/EFL teachers. She is also a U.S. State Dept. English Language Specialist who has conducted educator trainings on three continents. She is the author of three textbooks for Precollege Chinese English learners, and has developed mobile learning programs in China, Africa and the United States. With Dr. Cheng, she co-authored a chapter published in the Handbook of Mobile Learning (Springer, 2015).
