Ph.D., Biology China Agriculture University; College Board Certified AP Biology Teacher, Cambridge International Education Examinations (CIEE) Certified A-LEVEL Biology Teacher; Executive Director, BRS Cambridge International Examination Center; Deputy Director, Teaching Affairs Office; Deputy Director of BRS Academic Committee; In 2011-12, Jun Yan served as a Teaching for Understanding Coach in the WIDE World Program, Harvard Graduate School of Education In 2014, he was selected a Beijing City Outstanding Educator.  Jun Yan, one of BRS’s most experienced international science teachers, is a frequent media spokesperson on science and international education.

Jun Yan also directed BRS’s first bilingual AP publishing project overseeing the production of a series of AP subject review guides and himself authoring the AP   Biology Review Guide, and An In depth Guide to Studying in the United States.  In 2015, he led BRS’s participation in the Eton College, UK Modern Leadership Course.  He is also one of only three members of the Northeast Asia Cambridge International Education Executive Committee. He has rich experience in international curriculum design, teaching, testing, university admission counseling, teacher evaluation and training;
