Welcome Our Knowledgeable Guest Speaker to PYP!

In every unit, one expert, researcher or professor is invited to our classroom to share with students in their field. Guest speakers can have many different jobs such as coach, chef, doctor, firefighter, etc.

On this Tuesday, a very knowledgeable guest speaker, an engineer Dr. Wang Shiqing from China Huaneng Group, who currently works on gas emission reduction and air pollution prevention, brought us a wonderful lecture about fossil energy.

Several days before his arrival, students had prepared a dozen of questions for him, because they really wanted to have this chance to ask him directly.

In these students’ eyes, Dr. Wang was just like an Encyclopedia with so much knowledge, and he fully satisfied students’ curiosity.

Even after this activity, many students were still very excited and they told us this was a great lecture and they learnt so much knowledge. They were very eagerly looking forward to visiting Dr. Wang’s lab in the future!
