BRS Students Learning in the Global Classroom and Measuring the World with Their Own Footsteps

Learning in the global classroom and measuring the world with their own footsteps, BRS student groups traveled the world over summer break. As the Chinese saying goes: “It is better to travel ten thousand miles than to read ten thousand books”. One of the groups traveled to the world’s highly regarded universities of Oxford and Cambridge in the U.K. to audit lectures by the world’s top scholars. A second group went to Rice University, the leading research university in the U.S, to learn the much sought-after program-STEM. A third group headed to Hawaii to explore the environment, focusing on geology and biodiversity. The fourth group joined in a community assistance program, teaching Indonesian children painting skills and lending a hand in the construction of a local temple in Bali. At BRS, we prepare students to observe life with their own eyes and to learn with an open heart.
