【Sharing Meeting】The Clashes Brought by the Exploration of Northern European Education and Studying in America
Beijing Royal School always pays great attention to connecting with global education, and it is one of our traditions to sponsor excellent teachers studying in the U.S or other areas of the world.
On September 30th, six key teachers who just finished their journey of study and exploration in Finland this summer, and 5 teachers who just came back from America after finishing their study there, shared what they saw, felt and gained with the rest of the faculty.
Finland has very strict rules on how to select the best teachers with the most professional and caring educational backgrounds. In addition, Finland also has a wide range of extra-curricular classes such as carpentry, sewing and housekeeping classes as a great addition to the compulsory education.
Five teachers also used PowerPoint presentations to show the great cultural difference between America and China. The higher education they received in the United States and their observation of character education for American schoolchildren made them reflect on how to improve the education here at BRFLS.
BRFLS will continue to incorporate outstanding teaching philosophies in order to create the best education for our students here at home.
