01. 高中主题教研活动
来自人大附中的国际物理奥赛金牌教练员胡继超校长，以王府高中部科学组李江弘老师的《磁场、磁感线、章节单元设计》这一课为例，与我校科学组组长王桂华、教务处教务长刘红娟、高中部和初中部的物理组化学组老师们，共同探讨了如何在实际教育教学工作中，贯彻“物理观念、科学思维、科学探究、科学本质”这十六字方针。
同时，胡继超校长还结合人大附中的教育实践与个人执教经验，发表了主题为”学科竞赛助力高校人才选拔”的讲话。
Principal Hu Jichao, gold medal coach of the International Physics Olympiad from the High School Attached to the National People’s University, used as an example a lesson designed by Mr. Li Jianghong of BRS High School Science Group titled “Magnetic Field, Magnetic Lines, and Chapter Unit Design”. Division Director Liu Hongjuan and teachers from BRS High School and RFLS (junior high) school chemistry and physics groups jointly discussed how to implement the sixteen-character policy of “physical concepts, scientific thinking, scientific inquiry, and scientific nature” in practical education and teaching work.
At the same time, Principal Hu Jichao combined the educational practice of the High School Affiliated to the National People’s Congress and his personal teaching experience, and delivered a speech on the theme of “Disciplinary Competition Helps Talent Selection in Colleges and Universities”.
02.党史学习交流会
各位党员根据自己制定的年度月度学习计划，重点学习了《论中国共产党历史》《习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想学习问答》《中国共产党简史》《毛泽东邓小平江泽民胡锦涛关于中国共产党历史论述摘编》的部分章节。与会的党员围绕党史故事、党的理论学习、习近平总书记讲话、革命家庭背景等方面积极分享，并从自身工作和生活实际出发，深刻体会党史学习对党员们工作的指导意义。在部门工作方面，与会的各位老师不断进行反思和完善，认为应当从自己身做起，坚定党性、提高本领、做好榜样、传承革命基因、坚持人生价值，不忘为中华民族谋复兴，为中国人民谋幸福的初心和使命。还要践行党员承诺，为国际复合型人才的培养做出积极的贡献。
According to the annual monthly study plan formulated by the Party members, they focused on studying these chapters: “On the History of the Communist Party of China”, “Questions and Answers on the Study of Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era”; “A Brief History of the Communist Party of China”; “Excerpts from Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao on the History of the Communist Party of China”. Participating Party members actively shared stories about Party history, Party theory, General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech, revolutionary family background, and many more relevant concepts. They also shared their own work and life practices to help others to deeply understand the guidance and significance that Party history study plays for Party members’ work. In terms of departmental work, the teachers participating in the meeting continued to reflect and improve, building their belief that they should begin with their daily roles in life in order to strengthen the Party spirit. By embedding Party spirit into their daily skills, they can exemplify the best revolutionary mindset of valuing life and rejuvenating Chinese nationalism. The original intention and mission of the Chinese people was, is and always will be to pursue happiness. In part, that happiness will be won by fulfilling the commitments as Party members and making positive contributions to the cultivation of international compound talents happen for Chinese people.
03.羽毛球、乒乓球校月赛落下帷幕
自4月25日起，羽毛球挑战赛经过总计48场，四轮的竞争后，最终的男子单打获奖同学为：
冠军：郑明慧
亚军：王伟屹
季军：张洋
乒乓球邀请赛则总共比了4轮25场，男子单打获奖同学为：
冠军：张子安
亚军：白晔
季军：张阳
体育运动可以给予孩子健康的体魄、强壮的力量，从而促进心灵的强韧，同时，坚持运动的人对生活和生命都有更深刻的理解和热爱。学生们更需要在体育竞技赛事中学会在规则的约束中赢得胜利或者正确面对失败，这些经验可以影响他们的一生。
基于以上对运动的理解和对学生终生发展的深谋远虑，王府学校积极开展校月赛活动，除了已经结束的篮球赛、足球赛、羽毛球和乒乓球赛外，还将开展包括越野跑在内的多个体育活动赛事。
Monthly competitions began on April 25 and, 48 badminton games and four rounds of competition later, the final men’s singles results are as follows:
Champion: Zheng Minghui
Runner-up: Wang Weiyi
Third place: Zhang Yang
In the Table Tennis Invitational, there were a total of 25 games, and the men’s singles winners were:
Champion: Zhang Zian
Runner-up: Bai Ye
Third place: Zhang Yang
Sports can build a healthy physique and make children physically and mentally stronger. At the same time, people who integrate sports into their daily routine have a deeper understanding and love for life. Students learn and experience how to achieve victory based upon rules in sports competitions and how to face failure with dignity and sportsmanship. These experiences positively affect their lives by preparing them to persevere through adversity, victory or failure.
Based upon the above understanding of the importance of sports and physical exercise and BRS’s vision for the life-long development of students, the Royal School actively organizes monthly school games: basketball, football, badminton and table tennis, cross-country running, and many other sporting events.
