11月16日晚，北京王府学校特邀中国科学院古脊椎动物与古人类研究所研究员、中国古动物馆馆长王原教授，通过线上直播的方式为高一年级师生带了一场精彩的学术“盛宴”。
王原教授以“从鱼到人”五亿多年间中国古脊椎动物演化历程为主要脉络，挑选有代表性的古生物群，从古代到中生代、再到新生代，探知远古生命的进化历史。并探讨“从个人经历看生命演化与人生”问题，详细讲解生物的四大生存法则，并从生物“预适应”看机遇与准备的关系等角度引申到高中生考虑人生选择和择业准备等问题。
王原教授用生动有趣的故事，形象的比喻激发学生的探索欲和求知欲，讲座结束后同学们纷纷提问发言，与王原教授探讨自己对古生物学相关知识的困惑与思考。在交流中，同学们对生物进化历程以及自然环境变化都有了更加深刻的认识和思考，受益匪浅。

On the evening of November 16th, Beijing Royal School invited Professor Wang Yuan, a researcher of Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Curator of Chinese Ancient Zoology, to bring a wonderful academic forum for the teachers and students of grade one through an online live broadcast.
Professor Wang used vivid and interesting stories and figurative metaphors to stimulate students’ desire for exploration and knowledge. After the lecture, students asked questions and talked with curator Wang yuan about their further clarification on paleontology about paleontology. During the exchange, the students had a more profound understanding and thinking about the evolution of biology and the change of the natural environment.
02 中葡学生揭秘北京冬奥会
11月15日，大使杯-冬奥会青年使者”冬令营进行到了第三周，来自北京王府学校青年外交官项目的11名学生分成4个小组，分别与幼儿园、小学、初中和高中的学生一起完成了以“北京冬奥会揭秘”为主题的知识学习。
“奥运听我说”小组准备了冬奥会吉祥物、奥运奖牌历史及奥运饮食文化等相关延展知识的解说;”幼儿园奥运火炬手接力”小组为王府幼儿园的小朋友们讲述了与奥运会相关的小故事并进行了火炬传递的体验;” 为小学部40余名国际部的孩子开展了奥运小讲堂并进行了随机的知识采访; “多才多艺的小使者们还改编了一首奥运歌曲，与葡萄牙的师生们进行了分享。
“奥运听我说”小组成员还同时利用本班的自习课把奥运吉祥物的由来及相关设计理念做了分享展示，充分体现了中国北京作为双奥之城，在发扬体育精神的同时，向世界传递中华文明源远流长的文化精髓。
11月19日，来自葡萄牙的Escola Secundaria D. Duartet公立中学的学生与我校青年外交官项目的同学们再次连线，互相分享了各自国家的著名标志、展示了国家旅游视频并一同学习了北京冬奥会吉祥物、文化创意设计产品的相关背景知识。

From November 15 to 19, during the third week of the “Ambassador Cup – Winter Olympic Youth Envoys” Winter Camp, 11 young student Diplomats from Beijing Royal School were divided into four groups to complete the “Beijing Winter Olympics Revealed secrets” themed activity. The division of labor is clear, respectively to kindergarten, primary school, middle school and high school students for the Winter Olympics knowledge for interactive learning. On Friday, November 19th, Students from BRS and Portugal’s Escola Secundaria D. Duartet shared the mascots of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, the cultural creative designs products, and famous symbols of their respective countries.
03 校月赛进行时
北京王府学校2021-2022学年第一学期校月赛正在进行时。
目前，由教导处和体育组联合举办的游泳比赛、足球赛经过激烈的角逐后落下了帷幕，王府学子在比赛中风姿尽显。篮球、乒乓球、羽毛球等更多体育赛事即将展开，比赛正酣，精彩还在继续，敬请期待！

Beijing Royal School monthly competition for the first semester of 2021-2022 academic year is underway.
At present, the campus swimming competition, the football match jointly held by the teaching office and the sports group came to an end after fierce competition, and the students showed their charm in the games. 04 安全教育主题班会
十一月是北京王府学校安全教育主题月，为了强化同学们的安全意识，增强冬季校内外安全教育，宣传消防安全，11月5日与11月19日，高中部围绕“疫情防控桌面推演”、“安全教育——交通安全和消防安全”召开了两场主题班会。

November is the Beijing Royal School Security Education Month. The goal is to strengthen the students’ security awareness, promote winter traffic safety education, and publicity fire safety. On November 5th and 19th two themed meetings around “Desktop demonstration of epidemic prevention and control” and “Safety education – traffic safety and fire safety” were held at BRS.
05 班长座谈会
11月17日下午，王府高中教导处组织召开了高一年级班长座谈会。北京王府学校副校长房园园和教导处主任洪传木、主任助理陈承利、高一年级组主任周梦颖、副主任赵志华、后勤服务中心主任王希钊、校区食堂经理张海静与各班级班长、团委副书记、学生会主席、社团联主席、学代会委员长一起参加了会议。会上，房园园副校长和老师们就各班级学生对于我校教育教学、饮食起居、后勤设施服务保障等方面的意见、建议和要求进行了充分的沟通和交流。

On the afternoon of November 17, BRS Senior High School’s guidance office held a symposium for senior grade monitor. Fang Yuanyuan, vice principal of Beijing Royal School attended the meeting with teachers from all the department of the campus, as well as the class monitor, the chairman of the Student Union, the chairman of the association federation and the chairman of the student association. The meeting fully communicated and exchanged the opinions, suggestions and requirements of students in each class for our school’s education and pedagogy, logistics services and other aspects.
06 模拟结题会
我校参与的教育部课程教材研究所（教育部基础教育课程教材发展中心）组织的国家级第四批校本课程建设推进研究项目，共6项课题将于2021年年底结题。
校本课程建设对学校特色形成、学生个性发展及教师专业发展意义重大，为了帮助课题组总结反思前期工作，并为下一步研究指明方向，11月17日，法政国际教育、北京王府学校学术委员会邀请教育部课程教材研究所（教育部基础教育课程教材发展中心）领导和专家对课题组进行了模拟答辩。北京王府校区总督导岑建君、北京王府学校校长衡孝军以及法政国际教育投资有限公司副总经理郑真博士也对本次课题组研究过程中的问题和挑战提供了指导性意见。各学部领导、老师积极参会并认真学习。

On November 17th, the Academic Committee of Beijing Royal School organized the simulation project completion meeting. There were six research groups included in this meeting, which are the fourth batch of research projects promoted through the national school-based curriculum, constructed in 2019. In this simulation meeting, authoritative experts were invited as the mock defense and put forward valuable opinions for each group. In December, these groups will represent BRS to participate in the national project conclusion meeting.
07 家长课堂
11月14日晚，第六期家长课堂通过线上分享的方式如期召开。本期家长课堂特别邀请了北京王府学校家委会副主任，北京华允律师事务所创始合伙人、主任律师，中国政法大学法律硕士学院授课老师、兼职导师李毅女士为家长和学生解读了2021年6月1日起施行的新修订版《中华人民共和国未成年人保护法》，李女士在讲解中表示，修订后的法律将进一步为未成年人及其家庭建立更强有力的保护，同时也鼓励同学们多加学习法律知识，树立规则意识也是保护自身安全的重要前提。
On the evening of November 14th, the sixth parents’ workshop was held online as scheduled. The guest speaker of this workshop was Ms. Li Yi, the deputy director of the family committee of our school, and who is also the mother of Liu Yunhan from Class 4 Grade 10. Through the interpretation of the People’s Republic of China on the Protection of Minors, Ms. Li said the revision will further weave a tight legal net for teenagers and their families to build a stronger protection, also encouraging students to learn more legal knowledge, and to establish the rules of awareness as an important premise to protecting their own safety.
