On March 15, Beijing had a beautiful blue sky. This great weather made BRFLS students impatient to start their journey of visiting one of the most famous bakeries in Beijing – Yi Li Bakery.
After dressing in little aprons, chef hats and badges, these curious little bakers carefully watched the bread making demo class. Then they fully opened their imagination and created their own DIY breads such as panda or windmill.
After the bread was put in the ovens, students were led to visit the facilities and different workshops. They learned so much about the entire bread making process!
Finally, the bread was ready! Students could not wait to get their own bread made by themselves. Some students even wanted to share them with their parents!
This bread factory journey, not only let students appreciate the bakers’ hard work, they also learnt more about love and sharing!
