01.初升高宣讲会第一场

4月6日，北京王府学校初中升高中线上宣讲会第一场于晚6点准时开始直播。北京王府学校副校长余瑶女士（任期为2018/1/18至2022/4/12）主持宣讲会，并就高中部的教育教学现状做了情况分享。王府学校不但高度重视教育教学质量，也在分层教学、差异化教学和个性化培养上有着丰富的办学经验，为不同特质的同学量身打造成长计划。北京王府学校教务长刘红娟主任和升学指导中心的高奕主任，就如何选择国际课程及学校提供的升学服务进行讲解。来自高二2班的闫楚君同学也就自己在王府学校的生活学习经验向线上的家长和学弟学妹们做了分享。

On April 6th at 6 p.m. as scheduled, BRS Vice President Ms. Yu Yao presided over the live broadcast of BRS junior high school’s first ever online lecture, sharing the current situation of education and teaching in the high school. Beijing Royal School attaches great importance to the quality of education and teaching, as well as maintaining and running schools to ensure hierarchical teaching, differentiated teaching and individualized growth plans for both teachers and students.Teacher Liu Hongjuan from the Academic Affairs Office of BRS and Teacher Gao Yi from the Career Guidance Center explained how to choose international courses and how to access services provided by the school. Yan Chujun from Class 2 of Senior Two also shared with parents and students online some of her life and learning experiences while at BRS.

02.初升高宣讲会第二场

4月8日，北京王府学校总校长王广发先生出席北京王府学校初中升高中线上宣讲会“课程与升学”主题专场，并发表了重要讲话。王广发校长表示，初升高是孩子发展、定位的关键阶段，学校非常高兴能够和每一位家长就孩子的专业选择和未来规划进行沟通，并愿意提供一对一的帮助。他强调，想要孩子养成惠及一生的良好学习习惯，选择一所好学校很重要。北京王府学校教务处的张园老师主持了这场宣讲会。会上，王府学校老师就OSSD、AP、A-LEVEL、IB课程做了详细介绍，针对不同课程适合什么样的孩子进行详细解读。同时，升学指导中心的老师也就各个课程体系下的学生往届申学情况做了统计说明，方便家长和同学们选择适合他们的课程。

On April 8th, BRS Principal Wang Guangfa participated in and addressed the second BRS Junior High School online presentation, a special session regarding courses and further studies beyond junior HS. He stated that a key stage in any child’s educational development and placement hinges on choosing the best school for you, so BRS welcomes any opportunity to communicate with and to assist every parent one-on-one in regards to their child’s professional choice and future plans. He emphasized that being comfortable with one’s entire school environment and program enables students to develop good study habits that will benefit their lives.Teacher Zhang Yuan from the Academic Affairs Office of BRS presided over the presentation. BRS teachers also provided a detailed introduction to OSSD, AP, A-LEVEL and IB courses and explained in detail how individual students can best choose the most suitable courses. So that parents and students can choose the courses that best suit them, teachers from the Entrance Guidance Center also shared statistical explanations of students’ applications for studying abroad in the past years under each course system.

03.香山纪念馆参观

3月27日上午，北京王府学校党支部开展“学党史、明职责”主题党日活动，并参观香山革命纪念馆。北京王府学校常务校长衡孝军先生、北京王府幼儿园园长王红霞女士、党支部在编党员、流动党小组组长、及幼儿园党支部全体党员参加了本次活动。通过此次参观，所有党员一起回顾了中国共产党领导中国人民夺取全国胜利、筹建中华人民共和国的光辉历史，缅怀老一辈革命家的丰功伟绩。衡孝军校长和王红霞园长发表总结讲话，号召大家学习、牢记中华民族的光辉伟大历史，始终铭记和发扬老一辈革命家的革命情怀和谦虚谨慎、不骄不躁、艰苦奋斗的优良作风，传承红色基因，以“赶考”的清醒和坚定、以更饱满的精神状态投入到工作中。

On the morning of March 27th, the Party Branch of BRS launched an event themed “Learning Party History and clarifying duties” and visited the Xiangshan Revolutionary Memorial Hall. BRS Executive Principal Mr. Heng Xiaojun, Beijing Royal Kindergarten (BRK) Principal Ms. Wang Hongxia, the Party Branch members, the mobile Party group leader, and all BRK Party Branch members participated in the event.All Party members reviewed together the glorious history of the Chinese Communist Party through which the Chinese people won control of the country and prepared for the establishment of the People’s Republic of China, cherishing the memory of the great achievements of the older generation of revolutionaries. President Heng Xiaojun and Director Wang Hongxia delivered their concluding speeches and called upon everyone to learn and keep in mind the glorious and great history of the Chinese nation. In addition, everyone should always remember to carry forward the revolutionary sentiments of the older generation of revolutionaries and the fine style of humility and prudence, no arrogance or impetuosity, and hard struggle; inherit the red gene and devote yourself to work with a clear and firm spirit of “rushing for the exam”, and a fuller mental state.

04.家长课堂第四、五期

4月10日和11日，北京王府学校家长课堂第四、五期圆满结课。第四期课程中来自王府学校考试测评中心的高蔚老师为线上家长和同学们详细解释了5月3日即将开始的AP考试的考试政策和近几年考试内容的变化，以及同学和家长在考前需要做哪些准备等信息。第五期课程则是由王府学校升学指导中心的刘洋宏老师阐述GPA在申学中的重要性。刘老师从GPA是什么开始讲起，用多个大学的申请政策为例展现了GPA在申请中不可或缺的地位，同时也用图示表明了学生的GPA是如何计算的。

On April 10th and 11th, the fourth and fifth sessions of the Parent Classroom of Beijing Royal School were held. In the 4th course, teacher Gao Wei from the BRS Examination Evaluation Center, explained to parents and students online the AP examination policy and changes in examination content in recent years, as well as what kind of preparation students and parents need to do before the examination. Other information was also shared.In the 5th course, Mr. Liu Yanghong from BRS’s Entrance Guidance Center explained the importance of a student’s GPA in applying to a school or university, using icons to show how GPA is calculated. Ms. Liu addressed the indispensable status of the GPA, using the application policies of multiple universities as examples.
