Grade 4 Classes Hold Class Meetings about Arbor Day

March 12 is a holiday in which individuals and groups are encouraged to plant trees. Different classes had various class meetings with activities about Arbor Day on the afternoon of March 19, the activities included  watching documentaries, reciting relevant poems, singing songs, and telling stories.  Students were surprised to learn that some counties still have this important day even during wartime.

They actively talked about how trees protect the environment and what they can do for trees and our living environment. Homeroom teaches also encouraged them to grow a little tree to beautify their community.
