Many teachers walked into the Grade 3, Class 5 classroom to observe a demo given by Teacher An Yanbo.
After starting the class with very unique music, Teacher An used a short video to introduce the topic of the day: light! Students had to answer a series of questions about science. Then they were divided into different groups to discuss with each other to come up with better ideas for the lab. Finally, each group leader gave a report in front of the whole class regarding their findings during the experiment.
Students had an enjoyable 40-minute class. Not only did they improve their English, but they also developed critical thinking skills, creativity and team work. What a great class!
