12月1日,北京王府学校小学PYP“我最喜欢的图书分享”活动成功举办,引领学生探索书籍的世界,进一步推动校园阅读文化的形成,提高学生们的阅读兴趣,培养良好的阅读习惯。

自11月1日阅读月活动拉开序幕,学生们便投入到了紧张而充实的阅读活动中。在一个月的时间里,老师们通过在线图书馆推荐了一系列阅读书单,供学生们选择阅读。这些书单涵盖了科幻、文学、自然科学等各种题材,学生们从中找到自己感兴趣的阅读领域,也被鼓励在完成老师的推荐书单后,自主选择其他书籍,坚持每天阅读。

12月1日阅读活动当天,学生们通过海报、PPT等形式,推荐自己最喜欢一本英文书。他们不仅分享了书中的故事和知识,还根据书中的内容进行角色扮演、模型制作、场景搭建等。这种寓教于乐的方式不仅让学生们在轻松的氛围中分享了自己的阅读成果,也激发了其他同学的阅读兴趣。

 

学生们分组推荐自己喜欢的图书。他们不仅向同学们介绍了书籍的内容,还分享了自己对书籍的感悟和理解。通过互动交流,学生们也收获了更多喜欢的书籍,丰富了阅读视野。一位参与活动的学生说:“这次活动让我意识到阅读是一种享受,是开阔视野、丰富内心的重要途径。我会坚持阅读,让书香伴随我的成长。”

小学部PYP“我最喜欢的图书分享”活动是一次成功的尝试,不仅增进了学生们的阅读兴趣,提高了阅读能力,还为他们提供了一个展示自我、交流学习的平台,开启了学生们探索书籍世界的大门。

孩子们,在书海中快乐遨游吧!

On December 1st, BRES PYP department successfully held the “My Favorite Book Sharing” event, which aimed to guide students in exploring the world of books, making reading a habit and making reading a pleasure.

Since the start of the reading month campaign on November 1st, students have been immersed in a rigorous but enriching reading activity. Over the course of a month, teachers recommended a series of books for students to read, covering a range of genres from science fiction to history, literature to natural sciences this allowed students to find areas of interest for their reading. At the same time, students were also encouraged to choose their own books for reading after completing the recommended book list, and to persist in reading every day.

On the day of the reading event on December 1st, students presented their favorite books through posters, PPTs, and other media forms. They not only shared the stories and knowledge in the books, but also role-played, modelled and set up scenes based on the content of the books. This approach of combining education with entertainment not only allowed students to share their reading achievements in a relaxed atmosphere, but also stimulated other students’ enthusiasm and interest in reading.

Students presented in groups to recommend their favorite books to all students in the bilingual department. In this process, they not only introduced the content of the books, but also shared their and understanding of the books. Through interactive communication, students also discovered more books they liked, enriching their reading.

This event is not the end, but rather an opportunity to help students start exploring the vast world of books. As one student who participated in the event said, “This event made me realize that reading is a pleasure and an important way to broaden my horizons and enrich my inner self. I will persist in reading and allow the joy of books to accompany my growth.”

“My Favorite Book Sharing” event was a great success. It not only increased students’ interest in reading and their reading ability, but also provided them with a platform to showcase themselves and exchange learning. Although this event has come to an end, it has also opened the door for students to explore the world of books.
