书中角色“闪爆”王府，你最中意哪一个？

　　阅读是人类进步的阶梯。为了让王府娃娃们爱上读书，勇于表达自我，北京外国语小学PYP双语部开展了为期一个月的“书香润童年，阅读伴一生”系列活动。

Reading is the ladder of human progress. In order to make students fall in love with reading and have the courage to express themselves, the PYPDepartment launched a one-month series of activities “Scent of books for childhood, reading for life”.

在你读过的书中，有没有哪本是你特别痴迷的？你最喜欢书中哪个人物？你想不想把他/她/它展示出来？你想不想认识小伙伴最喜欢的书中人物？

带着这些问题，4月16日，孩子们终于迎来了书香月的第一个活动，也就是大家期待已久的“我最喜欢的书中角色扮演”活动。

Are there any books you have read that you are particularly obsessed with? Which character in the book do you like best? Do you want to show him/her/it? Do you want to get to know the characters in the book that your friends see most? With these questions in mind, our studenrs finally had the first activity on April 16th, which is the long-awaited “My Favorite Role-Playing in Books” .

　　吃过午饭，孩子们就迫不及待地把早已准备好的服装道具穿戴上身，和小伙伴们排着整齐的队伍来到了风雨操场。

看着周围小伙伴们的装扮，孩子们兴奋得“哇哇”大叫！

角色展示正式开始！伴着欢快的音乐声，鼓掌声，欢呼声，大家尽情展示自己扮演的书中角色，从一年级的小宝贝，到五年级的大哥哥大姐姐，孩子们带着满满的自信，走出了名模的气场，每个孩子都是今天最亮的仔！

After lunch, all the students couldn’t wait to put on their costumes and props they had prepared, and lined up with their friends at the gym. Seeing the costumes of the friends, theycheered with excitement! As the host said: “The role display officially begins!” Accompanied by the sound of cheerful music, applause, and cheers, everyone showed off their roles in the book, from Grade 1 to Grade 5 students. They walked out of the supermodel’s aura with full confidence. Every student is the superstar of today!

　　读书足以怡情，足以博彩，足以长才。同伴之间的交流使孩子们开拓眼界，见天地，见众生，见自己。

去看看小伙伴们都读了哪些书吧！孩子们带着自己的十个笑脸贴纸，慎重地为其他角色投上宝贵的一票。

茫茫书海中，同一个角色让几个小小的心灵产生碰撞，这就是读书带给我们的力量吧！

Reading brings us delight, gorgeousness, and talent. The communication between peers allows students to broaden their horizons, see the world, see all beings, and see themselves. Please go and see which books our friends have read! All the students took ten smiley face stickers and carefully voted for the other characters. This character may have affectedstudentsat some points, have had them cry and laugh, or have shared same experience and growth! In the sea of books, the same character makes hearts collision. This is the power that reading brings us!

　　投票结束了，回到各自班级，每个班计票选出获得贴纸最多的五名同学，看看这些同学准备得多用心啊，“最受欢迎奖”实至名归！

After the vote, the students must want to know whothe most popular character is.So, each class counted votes to select the five students who received the most stickers. We can tell how hard these students prepared for the event. The Most Popular Award is well deserved!

下午2:30，热闹的活动结束了，但是读书远远没有结束。一本书像一艘船，带领我们从狭隘的地方，驶向生活的无限广阔的海洋。

读书的孩子眼中有光，心中有爱，未来有希望！

At 2:30 in the afternoon, the wonderful event ended, but reading is far from over. A book is like a ship, leading us from a narrow place to the infinitely vast ocean of life. Children who read books have light in their eyes, love in their hearts, and hope for the future!
