是什么样奇特的日子，可以让你在一天之内游览11个不同的国家，了解他们的美食、语言、名胜古迹、服装？是什么样的学校，能够让孩子们每天都洋溢着幸福的微笑，同时拥有丰富的学习体验？
和我们一起走进北京王府外国语小学PYP部门一年一度的“国际文化节日”，看看孩子们去了哪些国家，“打卡”了哪些网红地点？
本次国际文化节共安排了11个国家，这些国家由各班中外班主任和本班的孩子们共同决定。有的班级选择了外教祖籍的国家——斯里兰卡，有的班级选择了他们特别喜欢的美食国度——牙买加，有的班级选择了自己有过旅游经历的国家——日本，还有的班级选择了自己想要深入探索的国家——萨摩亚。
孩子们不仅深度了解了本班国家的文化，还在音乐舞蹈课上学习了这些国家的音乐和舞蹈，并在舞台上进行了表演。
选择了国家之后，下一步就是要调查这个国家都有哪些特色文化可以装扮在教室里啦！各班分成了不同的小组，有的小组负责美食，他们不只要寻找这些国家的特色美食，还要能找到食谱，并自己尝试制作！
5.1班的国家是英国，刘子茳Jimmy和同伴一起研究了英国特色饮品奶油啤酒（非酒精饮料），他在家里将黄油、淡奶油和红糖炒至面糊状制成了太妃糖浆，倒入格瓦斯汽水搅拌均匀，上面加上一层打发过的淡奶油，最后在奶油上撒上一些姜粉，一杯完美的黄油啤酒就做成了!
各班级的老师也各显神通，展现了自己精湛的厨艺和创作能力。1.2班的老师研究了牙买加特色美食胡萝卜香草汁，带来家里的榨汁机和香草浓缩液，现场为来访的“游客们”准备了美味又健康的胡萝卜香草汁。
5.1班老师装扮上了传统的韩国服饰，在教室里摆上了电磁锅，为“游客们”制作了美味的韩国炒年糕。
2.2班在班级里设置了樱花树，让游客们仿佛置身于三月的日本，流连忘返。
1.1班充分体现了荷兰的艺术气息，将荷兰艺术家的大作搬进了教室，让游客们仿佛进入了世界顶级艺术博物馆。
After choosing a country, the next step is to research on their cultural specialties and decorate the classrooms. Each class is divided into groups, some are in charge of food, they not lonely need to look for them, but also need to know how to make them! Jimmy from 5.1 researched a typical British drink butter beer and leant how to make it. He used butter, cream, and brown sugar to make taffy syrup, then add some soda, put some whipping cream on top, and finally sprinkled some ginger powder on top. It was such a delicate drink and the “tourists“ enjoyed it very much! Teachers from each class were also very creative, teacher from 1.2 researched about a special carrot drink from Jamaica and make it in the classroom. A teacher from 5.1 dress up in traditional South Korean clothes and made Fried Rice Cake in the classroom. Class 2.2 set up a cherry tree in the classroom which helps all the tourists to feel that they were in Japan enjoying the beautiful scenery. Class 1.1 shown all the great artists from the Netherland and built an art museum in the classroom showcasing all the great art pieces!
