BRFLS Second Graders Visit China Aviation Museum

On the early morning, BRFLS 2nd graders came to China Aviation Museum that they had dreamed about for a long time.

Once they crossed the gate, they were immediately attracted by two airplanes on the square:
A silver IL-14 used by Mao Zedong, the first Chairman of People’s Republic of China, who flew to different places 23 times by this plane; a MIG-15 with red Chinese letters “XiangYu Ju She Hao” painted on its body. This plane was donated by Chang Xiangyu (Chinese: 常香玉) in 1951, who was a Chinese opera actress who performed renditions of the story of Hua Mulan across China in support of the Korean War.

Next, students continued their visit in the Cavern Exhibition Hall. Some military fans could not believe their eyes that there were so many cool airplanes in this museum!

After this visit, a patriotism education, more specifically speaking, students hope to keep learning and make China a stronger and more prosperous country!
