家校共育，助力学生成长 | 北京王府学校举办高一年级家长会

11月27日下午，北京王府学校高一年级家长会如期举办，上百名学生家长共聚王府学校演播厅，共同就孩子的学业发展听取校园宣讲。 

北京王府学校总校长王广发先生发表重要讲话，他提出，学生的学习成长不是一蹴而就的，家校双方应携手共育，共同注重培养学生的国家责任意识和全球视野，引导学生关注国内外经济政治形势，提升法治思维，为成为国际性精英领袖人才做好准备，为成为有素养、有文化的全球公民创造条件，为早日成为参与国家经济文化建设的栋梁之才打下根基。 

2022届年级组丁宇宁老师、升学指导中心高奕主任和剑桥国际中心王博老师分别就“年级总体情况与规划”、“王府学校升学情况&升学指导服务介绍”和“基于自我认知测评的专业选择与生涯规划”与家长们进行了具体沟通；美国驻华大使馆新闻文化处副文化官Mr. Benjamin Sand盛哲明先生则就“中美贸易战对教育交流的影响”以及家长们日常关注的问题展开了交流，数百名学生家长认真聆听了会议。随后，家长们到各班级教室参加行政班级会议，与老师们进行了具体的讨论交流。

On November 27 the BRS Grade 10 parents conference was held in the auditorium. Mr. Mr. Benjamin Sand from the US Embassy in China was also invited to attend the conference. 

Mr. Wang, Guangfa, Principal of BRS, addressed the parents and students on how student success can be achieved through collaboration between families and school. He also emphasized on importance of  cultivating  students’ national responsibility as well as global mindset by remidning  students to pay attention to the economic and political situation at home and abroad.

Mr. Ding Yuning , the year leader of Grade 10 shared a brief report on overall performance of grade 10 students. Dr. Gao Yi, the Director of Guidance Counselling Office introduced the progress of college and university admissions for BRS graduates and explained the student services provided by the Guidance Counselling Office. In addition, Wang Bo, the counsellor from Cambridge International Center, also talked about career planning based on the self-cognition assessment at BRS. 

Parents also had an opportunity to meet teachers to discuss their child’s academic performance and overall progress during this semester.
