你对王府学校丰富的升学资源知多少？——NACAC专题

The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), founded in 1937, is an organization of more than 16,000 professionals from around the world and dedicated to serving students as they make choices about pursuing postsecondary education. NACAC is committed to maintaining high standards that foster ethical and social responsibility among those involved in the transition process.

北京王府学校一直以学生的发展为核心目标，为了给学生对接更多美国本土的升学资源，我校从2016年开始申请成为NACAC会员学校。为了持续获取最新招生信息，给王府学子打通更多渠道，我校已经继续申请成为2017年NACAC会员学校。

那么NACAC到底是什么呢？

NACAC，即美国大学招生咨询协会(The NationalAssociation for College Admission Counseling ) ，成立于1937年，是美国教育界最权威机构，在行业内享有极高声誉。除此以外, NACAC旗下还拥有23个区域性机构和一个针对海外的大学招生咨询机构的协会 OACAC。几乎美国所有的非营利大学都是NACAC会员。

More than 15,000 individuals, institutions, and organizations are now NACAC members. In addition, 23 affiliate organizations—state, regional, and international—serve admission counseling professionals throughout the United States and the world. Over our history, the association has defined and promoted the highest ethical practices and professional standards, and, today, is the premiere organization for professional admission counseling training and networking.

2016年9月，我校代表在美国俄亥俄州哥伦布市参加了 NACAC组织的第72届美国大学招生咨询协会年会。在年会中，我们学习了美国最新的招生政策，聆听了美国大学理事会主席David Coleman对大学理事会组织的考试的最新解读等。而且，在college fair环节中，有来自美国、英国、加拿大等国家的500多所大学的招生官为我们解惑答疑。我校代表与各国高校招生官交换名片，并进行了深入沟通。

了解大学申请的同学都知道，学校官方代表与大学招生官的面对面沟通交流，就是王府学子走进心仪大学的敲门砖。

Beijing Royal School has always been “student-centered”. In order to help our students get more native resources from the US, we have successfully applied BRS as a NACAC member school since 2016. Furthermore, some of our representatives attended NACAC 72nd National Conference 2016 in Columbus, Ohio. More than 6,000 admission professionals from across the world gather annually for the three-day event. 同时，我们也通过NACAC这个美国最权威的平台，邀请到世界很多大学的招生官到学校，与学生进行面对面交流，让学生有机会深入了解自己感兴趣的学校，也通过了解学校招生要求明确自己的努力方向。

截止到目前为止，本学期来我校亲自与学生交流的美国大学已有近50所。为了让学生有更多选择，我校仍然在邀请一些大学招生官来我校宣讲，希望同学们通过班主任和升学指导老师积极关注，把握机会喔～
