致北京王府校区外籍教师的一封信
亲爱的外籍教师：
Dear foreign teachers,
针对近期发生的新型冠状病毒感染肺炎疫情，中国政府正在有效开展各项疫情防控工作，北京王府校区也于1月26日成立了疫情防控工作领导小组，统筹校区疫情防范工作。据2月4日统计，校区4140位师生健康状况良好。
In response to the outbreak of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus, epidemic prevention and control measures are being taken by the Chinese government in an orderly manner. On January 26, Beijing Royal Campus set up a work group for epidemic prevention and control, and our 4,140 teachers and students are in good health condition according to the statistics on February 4.
相信您不论身处何地，一定都非常关注这场疫情的发展和王府校区在此期间的教学动态，现在我们对各位外籍教师有如下几点提示：
We believe that no matter where you are, you must be very concerned about the epidemic situation and our school’s teaching arrangements during this period. Hereby, we wish to bring the following matters to your special attention.
一.如您目前身处中国
If you are currently in China:
- 请保持信息畅通。请您配合每天填写昌平区教委下发的个人健康信息统计，以便我们了解您的健康情况。同时及时关注北京王府学校公众号及各学部、人力外教办发布的官方信息，保持个人的通讯畅通。
- Stay connected and follow official information. Please cooperate by daily filling out the personal health information form issued by Changping District Education Commission, so that we are always informed about your health situation. Please follow closely the information published on the official WeChat accounts of Beijing Royal School, BRS’s respective school divisions, and Foreign Teacher Affairs Office (FTAO).
如您想要及时获取所处地疫情防控信息，请关注当地政府官方媒体发布信息。如北京，可关注北京市人民政府官方网站“首都之窗”（www.beijing.gov.cn）、北京日报及其客户端，“北京发布”“健康北京”等微博微信发布的相关信息。
Meanwhile, please follow closely the information published by local governments, such as in Beijing, please follow the information published on the official website of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality (www.beijing.gov.cn), the Beijing Daily and its news app, the Weibo account of the Information Office of Beijing Municipal People’s Government “北京发布”, and the official WeChat account of Beijing Municipal Health Bureau “健康北京”.
- 注意自我防护。请您避免前往人员密集的场所或参加集体活动，外出请佩戴医用（外科）口罩，接触过电梯、门把手等公共设施后，请注意洗手。若出现发热、乏力、胸闷、咳嗽等身体不适症状，请您做好防护措施，前往当地发热门诊，同时第一时间与学部、外教办联系，我们将尽全力向您提供所需帮助。
- Strengthen prevention and self-protection. Please cooperate with us in our prevention and control efforts. We ask you to avoid going to crowded places or public gatherings and to wear medical masks (for surgical purposes) when going out. Maintain hygiene by washing hands often with soap or alcohol-based sanitizer. If you have mild to severe respiratory symptoms of fever, cough, breathing difficulty or fatigue, please go to a designated hospital with a mask on and report to both your school division and Foreign Teacher Affairs Office (FTAO) as soon as possible. We will do our best to provide you with the help you need.
- 配合开学工作。北京王府校区教师将于2月12日起开展远程教学工作，如您确定返京日期后，请您及时向学部、人力外教办报备，同时关注所处地交通情况，返京途中务必全程佩戴医用（外科）口罩，返京后请居家隔离14天，在此期间请积极配合各学部、教研组开展远程教学工作。
- Cooperate actively. Teachers of Beijing Royal Campus will start distance teaching on February 12. Please report your date of return to both your school division and Foreign Teacher Affairs Office (FTAO). Please pay attention to the local traffic situation. Remember to wear a mask (for surgical purposes) on the way back to Beijing. When you return to Beijing, please remain in self-quarantine at home for 14 days. During this period please actively cooperate with the school divisions to conduct distance teaching.
- 配合当地疫情防控。如果您近期曾接触过疫情高发地区人员，要密切关注自身的身体状况，减少外出，并及时向学部、人力外教办报告，同时自行在家隔离14天，并谢绝亲友来访。如果有政府、社区工作人员、医务人员询问您的情况，请您积极配合他们的工作。
- Join in mass prevention and control efforts. If you have visited the infected area or have been around people who are from the epidemic area, please closely observe your health condition. Please remain in self-quarantine at home for 14 days and report to both your school division and Foreign Teacher Affairs Office (FTAO) in a timely manner. You should decline all visits from your friends and relatives. Please cooperate with government personnel, community personnel, and medical staff if they inquire about your condition.
二.如您目前不在中国
If you are currently not in China:
- 请保持信息畅通。请您及时关注北京王府学校公众号及各学部、人力外教办发布的官方信息，同时保持个人的通讯畅通。关于疫情的实时动态，可关注人民网、央视等官方媒体。
- Stay connected and follow official information. Please follow closely the information published on the official WeChat accounts of Beijing Royal School, BRS’s respective school divisions, and Foreign Teacher Affairs Office (FTAO). Concerning the epidemic, please follow closely the People’s Network, CCTV, and other official media.
- 配合开学工作。北京王府校区教师将于2月12日起开展远程教学工作，如您确定返京日期，请您及时向学部、人力外教办报备，如您遇到返程困难等问题，也请及时与人力外教办联系。在此期间请积极配合各学部、教研组开展远程教学工作。
- Cooperate actively. Teachers of Beijing Royal Campus will start distance teaching on February 12. Please report your date of return to both your school division and Foreign Teacher Affairs Office (FTAO). If you encounter return difficulties and other issues, please contact Foreign Teacher Affairs Office (FTAO) in a timely manner. During this period please actively cooperate with the school divisions to conduct distance teaching.
