A Fun Social Practice to La Fei Castle

Beijing had wonderful weather on March 22.  The first social practice for the first graders was to explore an interesting and magical place – La Fei Castle!   It is famous not only for being a wine chateau, it also offers so much more for students to experience.

On this field trip, our students were given the opportunity to challenge themselves by trying different programs such as very high slides or “space shuttle”, Students felt very excited after they overcame their inner nervousness. They also learnt the importance of teamwork and following rules.

After doing handicrafts, students walked on a curvy stone road into the middle of the beautiful Swan Lake and enjoyed watching some graceful swans swimming. Students were totally obsessed by them!

Last, they visited the museum to learn and gain knowledge about the secret history of wine. When they walked into the chateau, they opened their eyes because this building seems like an ancient one in the Middle Ages. Countless wine barrels with enchanted smells, and the impressive guards wearing shiny armor really caught the students’ attention!

This trip to La Fei Castle was a blast!  This is what the social practice is all about!
