2018年4月9日午间，一场师生较量的羽毛球赛在王府风雨操场开打，遭遇学生围观。
赛场上，来自王府羽毛球校队的两位队员，面对强劲的教练组队，果断后场扣杀，网前封球，几次给对方造成威胁，不过终究力量悬殊，铩羽而归。
On April 9, 2018, BRS held the 5th Royal Cup Badminton Open Tournament in our campus gym. The tournament kicked off with a Men’s Double, which pitted student against teacher and captivated the crowd with the wonderful skills and great performance. This year’s event attracted approximately 47 student participants from senior and junior high divisions in our school. The coming week will yield a list of the finalists, including Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles, successively. The most-anticipated event will be held on April 17 … the finals. Come support our young warriors as they battle for fame and glory, and witness the finalist victors claim their trophy!

这是在北京王府学校第五届“王府杯”校园羽毛球公开赛开幕式上，上演的一场师生对抗表演赛。高超的技术，让围观学生见识了王府羽毛球高手的赛场英姿，也点燃了这次羽毛球公开赛的激情火焰，正式拉开比赛序幕。

此次比赛有来自王府校区40多位初、高中生参加，在接下来的一个多星期里将陆续开展男单、女单、男双、女双，以及混双的甲乙组决赛入围名单。4月17日，最精彩、激烈的决赛将在当天活动课准时打响，欢迎大家前来为运动员鼓掌加油，为鲜衣怒马的王府人加油！！！
