奉献爱心 | 王府学子与阳光鹿童康复中心的孩子们共度圣诞
鼓励学生全面发展，培养国际情怀，引导学生在社区中积极贡献自己的力量一直是学校开展IB项目的重要理念。12月25日，在社科组宋婉铭老师的协助下，IB项目师生前往阳光鹿童脑瘫康复中心开展了一场别具意义的圣诞活动。
阳光鹿童康复中心成立于2012年，是专门针对儿童设立的连锁型康复机构，针对儿童肢体运动障碍、精神行为障碍、学习认知障碍等建立了一套科学完善的康复体系，治疗儿童运动发育迟缓、脑瘫、自闭症、癫痫等疾病。
在前往康复中心开展活动之前，学生们就通过组织义卖、班内宣讲等一系列方式让师生们提前了解这一类特殊的儿童群体。在圣诞节当日，学生们为康复中心的孩子们表演了圣诞舞蹈、圣诞歌曲，并与孩子们一同进行了英文游戏等环节。康复中心的孩子们也表演了诗朗诵、歌曲演唱等精彩的节目，学生们还同孩子和家长一起完成了水彩手指画，希望孩子们能像画中的小树一样茁壮成长。最后北京王府学校的学生代表将活动募捐和义卖所得的约三千元善款一并捐赠给了鹿童康复中心。
The International Baccalaureate Program aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. On Dec.25th, students from IB program-initiated CAS Services activities guided by Mrs. Song Wanming from Social Science group, and celebrated Christmas with children in the Rehabilitation Center.
Sunshine Deer Children Rehabilitation Center is a chain rehabilitation institution specially setting up for children since 2012. It has established a scientific and perfect rehabilitation system for children’s physical movement disorders, mental behavior disorders, learning and cognitive disorders, etc. to treat children’s motor retardation, cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy and other diseases.
Before the activity, students organized charity sales and class presentations to let teachers and students know about this special group of children in advance. On Christmas day, students prepared a Christmas dance, songs and some fun games for children. The children also performed poetry recitation, singing and other wonderful programs. Finally, all the students, children and parents finished one painting together. We hope the children there will grow up as trees in the painting. In the end, the student representatives donated about 3,000 RMB from the donation and the charity sale to the Rehabilitation Center.
