持续推进学术诚信 | IB全体教师召开第五次教师讨论例会
12月4日，全体IB教师在1204会议室参加了本年度第五次IB例行会议。本次会议以学术诚信政策在教学过程中的贯彻和执行为主题，参会人员就学术诚信相关问题进行了分享和讨论。
会上，教务处安梅老师对近期的IB教学情况作了简要的汇报；教务处王桂华博士介绍了学术诚信政策，并对IB学习者应遵循的基本原则进行了沟通；IB图书馆管理员张谨老师分享了有助于塑造学术诚信的软件—Turnitin的使用方法；最后，高三教师们根据学生的实际情况进行了相关的讨论和交流。
On December 4th, all BRS IB teachers and staff from the IB team attended the 6th collaboration of the school year. IBDP Coordinator (DPC) An Mei hosted this collaboration. Topics concentrated on“act with integrity and honesty.” The meeting participants shared and discussed how to both enforce and reinforce academic honesty in teaching learning throughout the thinking of “question, inquire and act.”
IB EE coordinator Dr. Jessica Wang also stressed the importance of academic honesty from the perspective of EE writing, and talked about the guidelines all the teachers and students should abide by.
IB librarian Zhang Jin introduced the user guide of Turnitin. This system can help all students avoid academic malpractice and improve efficiency for teachers as well. At the end of the meeting, grade 12 teachers gave feedback about their students in terms of class performance as well as their academic writing, and offered constructive suggestions.
