√Glenn Mishrell approaches the teaching of AP English in a systematic way. He makes regular use of assessments to monitor the progress of individual students and make adjustments to the pace and methodology of the course as a whole. His background in political science and history makes him especially effective in teaching critical reading of non-fiction passages, many of which are drawn from American history and social science. As a “digital native,” he is frequently called upon to help other teachers access web-based course materials and manage classroom technology.
